Chelsea Finally Set To Sign 183 Goals Superstar From Tottenham

Chelsea signing Harry Kane would be a “real signal of intent” from Thomas Tuchel’s side, Blues fans told

The Blues made the big decision earlier in the summer to allow Romelu Lukaku to depart the club and make a move back to Italian football after a very unsuccessful time of it back on the Premier League

And the fact that the club have no top-class striker that can bang in the goals on a weekly basis -means that ChelseaFC will need to delve into that transfer kitty and try to add another forward to the attack

The Blues – and Manchester City – wanted the England skipper last summer when it appeared he could leave the North Londoners – but the club made him stay in hope that they could convince him to stay for the long-term

But he is yet to be offered a contract extension, with his current deal having two years remaining – and there has been come links in the media that Bayern Munich are very keen on a transfer deal.

Recent reports on the SUN website have claimed that Chelsea have contacted Tottenham about a possible deal for the big striker – with reports suggesting Ted Boehly would love to bring their rivals’ talisman to Stamford Bridge

Now- amid all the speculation – journalist Pete O’Rourke has come out and told the Blues fans that the possible signing of Harry Kane would be a real statement of intent from the American owner

He told GIVEMESPORT: “If they were able to sign Harry Kane from one of their rivals, what a statement that would send out that Chelsea do mean business to become contenders again for the Premier League.

“If they can land Harry Kane, who’s one of the best goalscorers in Premier League history and the England captain, it would send out a real signal of intent.”

Chelsea have seen their biggest rivals add a proven top-class striker to the attack – and they have not

Pre-season has shown Tuchel that he needs to get a big time striker all signed up – so the obvious target would be Kane

However – unless they are willing to splash £200 million to get a deal done for the player – Daniel Levy will not let him leave for a Premier League rival and would much prefer that he leaves for a club abroad – if he leaves

Plus – Kane will not want to upset the Spurs fans – he loves the club too much to join ChelseaFC
